National Park Montebello's Lagoon

The national park montebello's lagoon possesses 6.022 hectares of extension.

The park meet inside the limits of two municipalities. The Trinitaria and Independence, in chiapas, in the surroundings Guatemala.

Flora: conformada for forest of pine and encino, as well as some species of oak and liquidambar.

Fauna: some amphibians like the frog, toad and the salamander. between the reptiles there are the tortoise, some variates of serpent. the mammals that can be observed in the place are shaped by common species of the region. there is deer, armadillo, fox white tail, ant bear, tlacuache.
