Wi fi a system of sending of information on computational networks that it uses waves of radio instead of cables, in addition it is a brand of the Wi-Fi alliance previously the WECA: wireless ethernet compatibility alliance.

Nokia and symbol technologies created in 1999 an association know as WECA. this association happened to be named Wi-Fi Alliance in 2003. the aim of teh same one was to create a brand that was allowing to promote easier the wireless technology and to assure the compatibility of equipments
